Yes we are now providing Childcare services for people who book in for a 17 day Group Holiday with Prana Healing Holidays, so that parents can come to India knowing their kids are close by having fun too.

Childcare will be available so that you can enjoy your treatments plus the recommended 1 hour post-treatment rest time, but also for other times you may wish to spend relaxing, shopping or participating in cooking, yoga or meditation classes - we can be looking after your kids.
My son Watson, was 3 almost 4 years old at the beginning of this year when I took him to India and he loved it. Not only did he love the beach, but also the food (you can get pretty much any kind of western and eastern cuisine here), but also meeting new people especially the lovely locals. We also had friends who joined us with their 3 boys aged 18 months, 3 and 8 and all of them had an amazing time.

Kovalam beach has mostly a soft swelling surf with a long beach lead in and a big distance of some 20 metres of little waves coming in before it gets deeper, so its perfect for kids to just paddle. My son became (what I consider) to be quite a champion boogie boarder for the first time while we were there as you can hire boards by the hour. I have seen some bigger waves there but usually the Kovalam beach lifeguards and their whistles tell you to keep away at the time.
My Childcare Centre for Groups is at The Golden Sands Resort in another section of the Resort that is in a secured area separate from the hotel rooms, swimming pool and restaurant. It’s a perfect spot that has several individual rooms for children to play, read, and create craft plus a large outdoor play section and access to a full bathroom.

My staff and I will be onsite at all times and, with permission, we could also take them to the Resort’s own private swimming pool plus to the beach which is a 2 minutes’ walk away for a swim, icecream or boogie boarding. Meals will be in the Resort’s restaurant which is up a small set of stairs and can also be accessed for staging my Kids Yoga and Meditation classes if age appropriate.
Although I’m not qualified in Child Care, I have a Cert IV in Leisure and Health and work within Aged Care plus I contract to Life Without Barriers, working with people with high-needs disabilities. I have a current Police Check and Working With Children Check.

In regards to Immunisation, I recommend that you do go and see your Doctor. My son had the special immunisation mix just for kids. And no further oral medication is needed as malaria is not active in the south end of India.
